For aerial video, I fly a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus which has the latest in video capture, image stabilization, and safety.  I always fly within line-of-sight but also use the drone’s vision system to fly “FPV”, (first person view), so I can see what the drone’s camera sees.  This enables very accurate framing of my subject no matter which direction I’m filming from.  Just "in case", I have two spare DJI Phantom's with Go-Pro cameras on them with much the same image capability as the Phantom 4 Pro.

For internal video, (despite most people thinking I’m still flying the drone indoors), my rig is a DJI Osmo Plus 3-Way Hand-Held motorized gimbal. As a back-up, I keep a FeiYu Tech G4S 3-way hand-held motorized gimbal holding a GoPro Hero 4 Black.  Both of these absorb sudden jolts and keep the camera level no matter how I handle it making for silky smooth panning movements.
